I just heard the tragic news that Michael Jackson died and had a cardiac arrest.  This is a very sad day for millions around the world. 

I was fortunate to have met many members of the Jackson family and I have always had great admiration for what each member of the family has accomplished.

My deepest condolences go out to Kate & Joe Jackson and the entire Jackson family!

The one thing I dread is having a son or daughter pass away before I do.  My stepmother has survived 2 of her children, my half brothers, and it was terrible to see her suffering as we laid to rest her sons.

I first met Joe Jackson and Jermaine Jackson at their Encino home way back in the early 1990's, introduced to me by a great friend,  Majestic Magnificent (yes that's his real name).  We were working on a deal that involved the Jackson family and it was very exciting to actually be in the home where the Jackson 5 made their career.  

I will never forget that day!  There I was in the home of the biggest entertainers that ever lived.  Needless to say I was very fortunate and it was an incredible experience.

Anyway, over the years I have had the pleasure to meet various family members and have got to know them from a personal basis.  In particular Joe Jackson has been great to us.  He actually came over to our Southern California home to attend Mary's 50th birthday party!

I remember attending the Jackson Family Honors and meeting all kinds of celebrities and experiencing what it is like to have security follow you around all day long.
